So I have secret about this bunny...I painted him in the car on a road trip my husband and I recently took. Sometimes the desire to paint strikes me at wierd times. I painted the other bunny in my studio so he'd have a friend.

Cuddly bird

I have wanted to paint this bird for a long time. In my head I had the idea to paint a little bird that just begs to be cuddled....here he is... I will be listing prints of this soon.

Christmas in July????

One of my customers wanted a Christmas card without Santa. I know, such a simple idea; yet, the thought hadn't even crossed my mind. And so she inspired this bird. He will soon be for sale in prints and in cards. I had a lot of fun splattering paint and using that bright red. Thanks for the idea!!!

Here is the original painting....cute, huh? I had a great subject to work from. Most pictures I take of sheep are of their behinds...I was so pleased to get several great photos to paint from of this little guy. I will be selling prints very soon of him.

New Sheep

Coming soon....I just painted a darling little sheep. But he was not so darling to paint and I almost gave up half way through. I thought, I will give it 30 more minutes and then give up. He must have known he was on the chopping block because he behaved the last 30 minutes and made me happy... I will post a picture later this week.

A favorite

Another favorite

So this one is a favorite because I used masking fluid to save the whites on the grass. I don't use masking fluid very often but I was thrilled with the grass on this painting.
